Hitachi High-Tech is a world-renowned manufacturer of electron microscopes. In aims to boost children’s interest towards science, the company has been providing ad-hoc science lessons with the use of electron microscopes at schools all over the world. This segment features one of their electron microscope lesson events held in a totally new style: remotely, via the internet.

HATO BUS is one of the leading bus tourism companies in Tokyo. However, they are going through a 98% decrease in year-on-year earnings due to the coronavirus crisis. Amidst such a situation, the company launched a special tour package utilizing their buses that are currently out of commission. The tour is one that could only be imagined under the current situation; a gigantic maze comprising of 3.8m-tall buses, a bus-ventilation experience, and a visit to a new attraction in the Tokyo Bay Area. This segment features new strategies in the tourism industry during the corona era.

There are currently 34 national parks in Japan. This segment features the Towada-Hachimantai National Park in the northern part of the country. Our reporter, along with park rangers and nature guides, explore the park’s landscapes and the geological history of the moss-rich Oirase Gorge, as well as Japan’s one and only double-caldera lake, Lake Towada.
