Information

FOODEX JAPAN—Asia’s premier food and beverage exhibition—brings together the global food industry under one roof every spring in Tokyo. In pursuit of business opportunities, around 3,000 companies from over 70 countries and regions gather to showcase the future of food. This year, celebrating the exhibition’s 50th anniversary, a major highlight is FOODEX WINE, a new zone designed to boost international wine business. Wineries from around the world, including emerging players from Eastern Europe, exhibit their products while seeking new partners, with a focus on the growing Asian market. Within this zone, world-renowned sommelier Tasaki Shinya introduces bold new pairings between wine and Japanese cuisine. Japanese food producers also step into the spotlight—showcasing premium ingredients, advanced processing technology, and a strong drive to go global. From trade floors to tasting tables, we go behind the scenes of a mega event where food trends, innovation, and global ambition collide.
