Featuring creative works and projects of young artisans inspired by Japanese traditional culture.The theme for this segment is K -- Kimono.

After studying kimono-dyeing techniques at university, Hiroko Takahashi started creating her own kimonos. Her work has taken traditional Japanese culture to the next level and attracted wide attention.

2.NIPPON MY FAVORITES: Suvendrini Kakuchi from Sri Lanka

Foreign correspondents introduce their favorite places, pastimes and other exciting information on Japan. Also features their insight on the charm and appeal of Japan, its similar points and differences from their home countries.

Ms. Suyendrini, a Sri Lankan who has been living in Japan for the last 30 years, joins us to share her favorites about Japan! "Japan has so many Interesting and exciting things! I like hot springs, Takeshita Dori in Harajuku, and Japanese Ice cream!"
