In a remote island of Nagasaki Prefecture, a family works together on a farm breeding calves and preparing them for market. Their animals have gained a reputation for quality and fetch high prices at auction. But the second-generation owner once had different plans for his future, working a salaried job with more security.
Along with his wife and son, he now feels deep satisfaction with his life, despite the long hours and sometimes harsh conditions. Will the farm be passed on to the next generation?
