The Japanese and Nature
Message of the Japan Cultural Expo

Aired: February 10, 2021 (UTC)

Information

The Japan Cultural Expo is now being held throughout Japan with the theme of “Humanity and Nature in Japan.”

Its objective is to convey the beauty of Japan to people both in and out of the country, and pass it on to the next generation.

From exhibitions to performing arts productions and arts festivals, it provides visitors with an opportunity to witness the beauty of Japan from the prehistoric Jomon period—some 17,000 years ago—to the present.

This program examines the Japanese view of nature as revealed through the expo.
