Doll artist Ohno Hatsuko, who lived from 1915 to 1982, poured her creativity into thirty dolls that have been praised worldwide for their exquisite detail, artistic quality, and expressive features.
Renowned Polish film director Andrzej Wajda, whose notable works include “Ashes and Diamonds” and “Kanal,” was an admirer of her dolls, describing them as “ukiyo-e in three-dimensional form.”
