This episode features Nihonshu or Japanese Sake. Its recognition has been on the rise along with the growing popularity of Washoku. However, there still is much to discover about this Japanese iconic drink. The region of Hokuriku, known for its fresh and rich seafood, is home to premium Nihonshu. Reporter Maxwell Powers visits the region and learns about Nihonshu in depth through his encounter with brewers, cup artisans and culinarians and their seasonal cuisine matching Nihonshu. The program follows his journey in pursuit of Nihonshu's unexplored aspects and genuine appeal.
