Information
Kobori Sosho is the daughter of the Enshu Sado School’s 13th grand tea master. She began her apprenticeship after university and is also a former national lacrosse player. Drawing on her experiences, she started the Tea Ceremony for Athletes, infusing innovation into the traditional world of the tea ceremony, which is based on kata, or forms, that have been passed down over 500 years. She shares the sentiment and thoughts behind her new initiatives.
