Information

Independent watchmaker Kikuno Masahiro was the first Japanese and youngest ever to be accepted into the Horological Academy of Independent Creators, a prestigious academy in Switzerland exclusively for exceptional independent watchmakers. Kikuno’s pieces all feature Japanese motifs and are mechanical watches powered by springs rather than batteries. We trace his path to international acclaim and gain insight into what makes him tick.
