Japanese Women Delivering Hope Overseas

Aired: Jan 19, 2024 (UTC)

Three Japanese women are working to deliver hope overseas.
One works to prevent the nightmare of civil war from recurring in South Sudan, which has experienced violent conflict. Another coordinates an emergency team whenever disaster strikes and supports the rescue and medical efforts. Yet another continues to provide humanitarian assistance to women experiencing poverty and oppression in Afghanistan, which is seeing a resurgence of Islamism.
Through their experiences and insight, we aim to find clues for preventing conflict and empowering people.
