Information
Yokohama, one of Japan’s most international cities, is on its way to becoming a “Green Hub of Asia,” and it’s using international conferences to share innovative environmental policies with cities across Asia and the world.
In 2024, it served as the host city for several conferences on environmental issues such as biodiversity and decarbonization. At these events, representatives from around the world met with city residents to discuss both challenges and successful initiatives. We follow the steps Yokohama is taking to lead by example.
