Tiaras have long been prized by European nobility as symbols of wealth and status. In Japan, they’re a popular accessory worn by brides on their big day.
Tiara designer Kamitani Taro is one of the few in the world to specialize in bespoke pieces. He’s now working with a newly developed material. We follow his creative process to see how he puts the sparkle into his designs.
