Chocolatier Ishihara Shingo is exploring the untapped potential of cacao, which has long been prized for its nutritional benefits and was once called the "fruit of the gods."
He's a chef of many hats. Not only does he head the popular brand Maison Cacao and work as a chocolatier himself, but he is also establishing a food culture around cacao and providing educational support to a cacao-producing region in Colombia to build a sustainable relationship.
We follow him as he ventures beyond the traditional realm of a chocolatier in search of innovation!
